The knowledge that such watercourses are charged with energy is ancient, and anyone who wants to sensitise their intuition for a place that does them good has come to the right place! Water is the source of life. The human body consists of about three-quarters water and needs it for all metabolic processes.
At the Naturhotel Reissenlehen, the regenerating, health-promoting energy of water is put to full use! Water cures, baths and affusions, in combination with other natural elements, make the immune system strong as an ox and, as a side effect, act as a skin-tightening beauty elixir. ‘The water quality of the spring…’
The water from the Reissen spring is extremely pure and, according to test results, even exceeds drinking water quality standards. The spring water is tested once a year. Unfortunately, due to the comprehensive requirements and structural measures stipulated by the Drinking Water Ordinance, which are too costly for a medium-sized business to implement, the water from the Reissen spring cannot be offered as drinking water in the hotel.

The heat comes from a CO2-neutral wood chip plant, and a heat recovery system optimises energy consumption.
Even sweating in the log cabin sauna is stimulated by the cosy warmth of a wood-fired stove – this is a very special sauna experience and tensions melt away like vanilla ice cream.
Werner Irlinger uses many local ingredients in the kitchen. The herbs are picked from his own garden and the jams are homemade. All food is sourced from regional producers wherever possible, so there is no doubt about its origin or processing; and local businesses are also supported.
