And if things get hectic in the kitchen because the orders are particularly varied, she keeps track of everything and ensures that everything runs smoothly with a cheerful ‘We can do it!’ – and happy guests!

Marianne knows about the benefits of nature here in Reissenlehen. The view of the Berchtesgaden mountains alone calms people down and makes their hearts beat a little slower. She conveys this calmness like a rock in the surf, even if on some days it may seem as if everything is in chaos ‘behind the scenes’…

Sepp Irlinger

…has always been in the mountains, ever since he was a boy. He loves the power of nature, the clean air and the clear mountain water. No wonder that ‘health from nature’ became the theme of the hotel. Sepp Irlinger puts his heart and soul into his work. Nothing and no one can stop him from giving his guests specially tailored hiking tips or mixing the sauna infusion himself with natural essential oils. Customised work and expertise are required throughout the day to maintain this idyllic property. The wood for heating comes from the hotel’s own forests and is felled and processed in-house. Nevertheless, Sepp consciously takes time for his guests and – a bit of fun now and then is also allowed.

Sepp Irlinger manages the Reissenlehen with great passion and a keen sense of tradition and trends. It is this foresight, coupled with determination, that stands for authentic development with a healthy balance. Sepp Irlinger sees venturing into the new and unknown as an incentive. However, it is just as important to him to preserve the old and proven and to lead it into a new era.

Christiane Irlinger

welcomes her guests with attentive warmth. She manages the reception with a steady hand and takes care of the hotel’s operations with great dedication. Christiane Irlinger considers it both her duty and her obligation to ensure that guests feel comfortable and want to come back. This can only be achieved with dedication and, above all, passion. She brings both to the family business in her charming way and ensures strong cohesion. She draws strength and energy from her connection to nature and her homeland. Growing up here, you become part of the whole. The natural life in the countryside brings contentment – with horses and chickens – everything that goes with it. When Christiane gallops across the meadows on horseback in the picture-perfect landscape, the clarity of nature makes you forget all the hustle and bustle of everyday life and sensory overload. She conveys this contentment and clarity to her guests in a friendly manner…

Werner Irlinger

…is an inventor and learned the art of cooking from scratch. He cooks regional, hearty and original dishes. The dishes are served in a classic style – or with a slightly different twist. And because he knows exactly which regional ingredients are needed to create a delicious meal, he seeks out the best that the Berchtesgadener Land has to offer. However, the junior chef’s creativity is not limited to the kitchen. His secret passion is building and tinkering, which is why you will often see him driving an excavator with great enthusiasm when construction work is required. With a great deal of commitment and ingenious ideas, the extraordinary is created – and there is plenty of it at the Naturhotel Reissenlehen. Because when it comes to architecture and interior design, Werner Irlinger likes things to be a little bit different….
